It is super important to control your intake this Christmas.. and I don't mean controlling your dominant hand to guide the Christmas pudding into your mouth.
I'm talking about specific quantities and portion sizes.
We are all aware that there may be temptations this Christmas and it is possible that Aunty Rhonda's famous dish will at some stage reach your lips .. but I want YOU to decide whether it reaches your hips !
The best way to do this is to be in control. Avoid high stakes, adopt a healthy frame of mind and stick to long term goals by:
1. Limiting overall quantities (reducing the number of times certain foods are consumed).
2. Specifying a time frame on Christmas activities (ie. 1-2 days per activity); and
2. Outlining portion sizes in advance.
A 'free for all' approach can be disastrous, so focus on regulation and balance when eating and drinking this festive season.
